- Registered Practical Nurse Diploma
- Minimum of 1 year seniors home, long-term care, and/or hospital experience
- Active Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Availability to work shifts: days/evenings/nights and weekends as required
- Proficient technical skills to include but not limited to: MS Word and email
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong interpersonal/communication & organizational skills Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills
- Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV)
- Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years
- Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certification
- Adheres to the Employee Standards and ORCA Code of Ethics
- Baccalaureate degree or diploma in nursing
- Current registered nurse licensure in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum of 1 year seniors home, long-term care and/or hospital experience
- Availability to work all shifts days/evenings/nights and weekends
- A current BCLS certificate required
- Proficient computer skills to include but not limited to: MS Word and email
- Able to work independently and adapt in a team environment
- Proof of current immunizations for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV)
- Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one (1) year or a negative chest x-ray within the past five (5) years
- Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
- Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
- PSW certification is a requirement.

The work of a cook or personal chef is both physical and mental, as personal chefs are often put in charge of managing the budget, shopping, and meal planning for dinner parties and other functions. Roles have to pay special attention to any dietary restrictions or preferences of their employer and plan meals around them.
Tasks
- Plan menu based on clients’ specific requirements.
- Clean kitchen when cooking is complete.
- Prepare meals using safe techniques.
- Shop for food supplies.
